I made Checkmist: chess with fog of war, random islands and a tech tree. Free in your browser, looking for feedback

I made Checkmist: chess with fog of war, random islands and a tech tree. Free in your browser, looking for feedback Playable Link: https://mudralabs.itch.io/checkmist Hi all! I'm the solo developer of Checkmist, a chess-like strategy game where you can only see what your pieces can see. It's free, needs no account, and works in the browser on desktop and phones. What's different from chess: - Fog of war: the island is covered in mist, and forests hide pieces, so ambushes are a thing - Orders: you move several pieces per turn and can buy more orders with Gold - Economy and tech: hold Mines, recruit pieces, research Rooks, Scouts and a Queen - Formations: line up 3 Pawns into a Phalanx and march them together for one order - No check: you win by actually capturing the enemy King - A new random map every game There's a 10-minute interactive tutorial, a bot with Easy/Normal/Hard, and online 1v1 with room codes. It's an early version, so I'd love to hear: Was the tutorial clear? Where did you get confused? Did you beat the Easy bot? Was it too easy or too hard? Anything that felt broken or unfair? Note: the online server is on a free plan, so the first online game after a quiet spell c

Multiplayer FPS game seeks to revive the old days! (desc) Free and no install

Multiplayer FPS game seeks to revive the old days! (desc) Free and no install Game Title: Blacklist Playable Link: https://playblacklist.com / https://phillwar.itch.io/blacklist Platform: Browser (WebGL) Description: Blacklist is a multiplayer FPS that runs in your browser. I grew up playing browser shooters. When the old web plugins got shut down most of those games died and so did the communities. I missed that feeling of being part of a small community where you know a lot of the people you play with. I feel like that’s something most big AAA games are missing these days My aim is to make this game accessible: free to play & optimized for low end PCs and also to build a steady community around the game and support it with clan system, discord, and events Features: Play as a guest or make an account. Accounts track your kills, deaths and XP rank. Clans. Create your own or join one with friends. Beta. It’s still in beta until the end of October, early players can claim an exclusive beta badge. TDM, DM and Bomb mode. It launched today after stress testing with a small group of testers. We're still in the beta phase, so I’d love feedback on performance, netcode and gunplay. Any bug

Me and my brother made a little detective game with Claude, free to play, looking for feedback

Me and my brother made a little detective game with Claude, free to play, looking for feedback Me and my brother have been making a game with Claude for a while now and it’s finally at a point where other people can play it, so we’ve put a demo up on itch. It’s called Generic South London Mystery. You play Max, who’s late for the football at his mate Harry’s flat upstairs, and when he gets there things are not right. You talk to the neighbours, write stuff in your notebook and pin it all up on a wall at home with red string until it starts making sense. It’s pixel art and set in a pretty grim 70s council block. It’s free and runs in the browser. It works on phones too, there are touch controls, and you can use an Xbox or PlayStation controller if you’d rather. Mostly we just want to know what people think. If something’s confusing, broken, too slow, or you got stuck somewhere, we’d really like to hear it. Same if you enjoyed it, we’d like to know which bits worked. https://thuggish-games.itch.io/generic-south-london-mystery Cheers submitted by /u/Thuggish_Games to r/aigamedev [link] [comments]

I'm building a voxel robot action game with a studio of AI agents.

I'm building a voxel robot action game with a studio of AI agents. This is EXO: Hold the Line, a voxel robot action game where you pilot one war frame against waves of hundreds of machines. It's still very early alpha, with lots of bugs and unfinished work, but I'm proud of how far it's come. The video is about 9 minutes running through a few builds of the first class, Vanguard. Quick facts: Three.js and plain JavaScript, runs in the browser No 3D models. Every robot, prop and arena is built in code from concept images I'm not a dev (and I hope this encourages other non-devs to start building too) How it started Not long ago I stumbled on an open-source voxel action game on GitHub (MIT licensed, by BubuAi). I'd wanted to build a game of my own for a while, but with the ambition I had I assumed I'd need an engine like Unity just to start. Then I saw how well this demo played, so I used it as the base and built from there. The best part is that because everything is code, building it with AI is extremely efficient. I've made a lot of progress considering how early this is. How it's made I run it like a small studio inside Hermes Agent. An orchestrator agent (Claude Opus) plans the w

I can't code, and AI just helped me build the golf game I've dreamed about for years. I genuinely don't understand the hate. I'll be honest from the start: I've never written a line of code, and I still couldn't write one now. I've had golf game ideas in my head for years, a proper career sim where you start as a nobody and every round tells a story. They were never going anywhere. I couldn't build it, and I couldn't afford to pay someone who could. Since June, I've built it with Claude. It's called **Sunday Pins**, and it's free to play in your browser: https://sunday-pins.com/ (no ads, no sign-up). 🎥 Trailer above. **Tour Career:** start as a 17-year-old nobody and chase majors, with sponsors, rivals, slumps, injuries and a Hall of Fame when you retire. **League System:** golf played like football, with transfers, budgets, and promotion and relegation. **All-Time Greats:** you against golf's 25 greatest at their peak. **Challenges (new):** replay golf's greatest final rounds from the real position, read the greens yourself, and take on one daily attempt. **Real courses:** 44 of them, played hole by hole, with hole maps from real map data. **About the hate** Every time I mention

I made a free browser motorcycle game. How far can you get?

I made a free browser motorcycle game. How far can you get? Game Title: KEEP ON RIDING Playable Link: https://www.keepriding.it Platform : Browser, mobile and desktop. No download, no account. Description: KEEP ON RIDING is a motorcycle arcade game where the goal is to keep riding as far as you can. You start on a tuned Piaggio Ciao. Survive one minute to unlock a Yamaha XT 600, then unlock progressively faster bikes as you go. Along the way, you manage fuel ⛽ (smooth riding helps you save it), navigate traffic and changing road conditions, stop for fuel and supplies, and choose which route to take. The journey starts in the Italian countryside and, if you make it, takes you all the way to the North Cape. It’s a port of a project I started years ago, a work in progress, with new content added regularly. --- Tech details: KEEP ON RIDING is a 3D browser game built with TypeScript, React, Three.js, and Web Audio, bundled with Vite/vinext. It runs as a static site with no backend, using entirely code-generated visuals and sounds. Its ~10,500 lines of code power a deterministic 120 Hz simulation, world, weather, animals, audio, and interface, backed by ~7,200 lines of tests and automat

I built a browser life game set in 30 real cities. You arrive with $25.

I built a browser life game set in 30 real cities. You arrive with $25. Hi all. Streetborn is a free life sim that runs in the browser, on phone or desktop, no download. You pick one of 30 real cities, from Los Angeles and Atlanta to London, Dubai and Tokyo, and land with $25. From there it is up to you: find work, pay rent and that city's taxes, furnish a home, open a business, learn a trade, get fined for jaywalking, fly somewhere else and change your money at the airport. What I think is different: ●Real neighborhoods, freeways, airports and landmarks in every city. ●Each country has its own currency and tax rules A 3D map with traffic, pedestrians, police and ambulances. ●Private chats, groups and voice notes between players, with a filter that blocks scam links and people asking for passwords. ●Occupations: an architect player can be hired by another player to design their house. It needs a free account (a username and password; email is optional) so your progress follows you between devices. Play: https://playstreetborn.com It is new, so I would value blunt feedback: what confused you in the first five minutes, and what made you stop? submitted by /u/FearJehovah to r

I made a free Manila Life game where you survive EDSA traffic, brownouts and utang

I made a free Manila Life game where you survive EDSA traffic, brownouts and utang Hi everyone, I made a free Sims-style game set in Manila. You ride jeepneys, commute through EDSA, run a sari-sari store, deal with typhoon signals and brownouts, and even send a balikbayan box home. It runs in your browser, no download. I'm adding new places and events every week, so I'd love to know which Manila moments I should add next (a Divisoria haggling minigame? Simbang Gabi? videoke?). https://manilalife.app/ submitted by /u/rubiwoLtd to r/PHGamers [link] [comments]
